What to expect in this workshop:
- The menu: Mardi Gras Andouille and Cheddar Fondue

- One Fēst Chef Instructor will lead the way as you learn how to make a delicious meal. Your Chef Instructor will demonstrate every step of the recipe, with two cameras to give you all the right angles and clear views of what's happening.
- Your Chef Instructor will answer any questions that come up via the chat box of the video call. You'll prep your ingredients and cook each dish with plenty of guidance.
- This class is your time to ask your chef questions, ask for feedback, learn a little something and most importantly, have fun!
- This is a group workshop, we ask that you remain muted throughout the class and submit all of your questions in the chatbox of the video call.
Ingredients you'll need:
For the fondue:
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 link Andouille sausage
- 1 cup light beer
- 3 cups (12 oz) sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup (4 oz) Gruyere cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon dry mustard
- ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning such as Tony Chachere’s
For dipping:
- Crusty bread
- Additional Andouille sausage
- Shrimp or crawfish tails
- Steamed broccoli or cauliflower florets
Equipment you'll need:
- Medium sized pot for the fondue. If you don’t have a fondue set, you can use any pot with a portable burner set to low
- Whisk and spoon for stirring
- Forks or fondue forks for dipping
- Knife and cutting board
- Apron and kitchen towels
